Halabor (Template:Lang-uk, Template:Lang-hu) is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast (province) of western Ukraine.

Geography

The village is located around 18  km south of Berehove across from the Hungarian village of Szatmárcseke. Administratively, the village belongs to the Berehove Raion, Zakarpattia Oblast.

History

Its name origanates in the word Hrábr. It was first mentioned as Harabur in 1300.

Population

In 1910, it had a population of 508 , mostly Hungarians. Nowadays the population includes 640 inhabitants of which 630 (98%) are Hungarians.
