• Delete or merge into butyl rubber. I agree with the nomination that this is WP:OR and WP:SYNTH. The topic of the environmental effects of basketballs is not a notable one, and the article is really about the production, environmental fate, and recycling of butyl rubber. There is probably some useful content here that could be merged into butyl rubber. Gnome de plume (talk) 20:12, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
• Delete per Gnome's comment above, which is four-square on point. In the absence of significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources on the specific subject of "environmental effect of basketballs," this subject fails the general notability guidelines and represents a clear violation of WP:OR and WP:SYNTH.
