Wilmer Valderrama (born January 30, 1980 in Miami, Florida), is a Colombian-American comic actor, most famous for the role of Fez in the sitcom That '70s Show. He is currently host of the MTV series Yo Momma.

Wilmer Valderrama was born in Miami, Florida to Colombian immigrant parents. They moved to Venezuela when he was three years old, and again moved to Los Angeles from Venezuela at the age of thirteen. He didn't speak a word of English upon his arrival, but he quickly learned the language in school and began drama classes during high school to help assimilate himself into American culture.

Career

In 1998, Valderrama made his first successful role as Fez in the television series That 70s Show, whose character was from a foreign country that had a naive personality, thick accent, and a name so confusing he was nicknamed as "Fez" which stood for "Foreign Exchange Student."

After the show's cancellation in 2006, he became the main host of the MTV game show Yo Momma. He currently is also the voice for Manny Garcia in the Disney cartoon "Handy Manny", and had a voice role in the video game Scarface: The World is Yours.

Personal life

He was previously in serious relationships with both Mandy Moore and Lindsay Lohan. It has also been reported that he had a fling with Eva Longoria before and during her relationship with Tony Parker. Valderrama stated on an interview on the Howard Stern Show that he and Lohan dated for a year, and that she was great "in bed."

Wilmer Valderrama currently co-owns three restaurants: Dolce, The Lodge, Geisha House.

  • Wilmer has been Punk'd three times by Ashton Kutcher. He currently holds the record for being Punk'd the most.
  • In an episode of That '70s Show, when the kids' high school yearbooks were shown, Wilmer's character Fez was voted "Most Likely To Play Ponch in The Musical Version of CHiPs." In 2008, Wilmer will star in the movie version of CHiPs as Ponch. He also played Ponch alongside Danny Masterson and Mila Kunis in a parody entitled "CHiPS 2002" on an episode of MadTV.
  • He was named to People magazine's "Top 50 Bachelors" in 2002.
