Proposed merge into Heliacal rising
With all due respect to those interested in astrology or astronomy, this article is about a highly technical, arcane and estoric subject. I am strongly in favor of merging it into Heliacal rising, which is much more understandable, or else deleting this article entirely. - mbeychok 21:16, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Combust is not the same as heliacal rising -- heliacal rising deals with a planet's position on the horizon (more specifically a rising planet's/star's position on the eastern horizon), while combust deals with a planet's position in close conjunction with the Sun (irregardless of the horizon). I hope this clears things up for you. --172.162.216.137 13:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
This article does not present the mainstream astrological definition and usage of combust.
