  • General Improvements
  • Make introduction concise
  • Find out about jami mosques
  • Find out the names of mosques mentioned in the Qur'an from reliable resources
  • Remove unimportant and irrelevant images
  • Include images of less traditional mosques (i.e. ones without minarets and iwans)
  • Combine similar references to make singular footnotes
  • Add links to sister projects
  • Primarily, this section should contain a significant amount about the difference styles that have evolved and the diffusion of mosques to other areas of the world
  • Briefly mention madrassas
  • Clean up etymology
  • Include information about mosques as educational centers with schools
  • Create separate section about social events at mosques
  • Possibly go into more detail about mosques during Ramadan and other religious observances, such as Eid ul-Fitr
  • Include more references
  • Find references for section
  • Explain features such as minarets and iwans and include pictures
  • Explain what T-type mosques are
  • Find information about other types of mosques
  • Explain more clearly the difference between modern-day mosques and past mosques; new features that have been added or dropped
  • Include information about separation at social events
  • Include just a bit more information about women being imams; briefly state the importance of the imam at the mosque
  • Try to find particular mosques and countries that prohibit non-Muslims in mosques.
  • Explain rationale for allowing Muslims to mosques: explain openness, cite sources that show allowance of Muslims
  • Convert all references to footnote style
  • Remove insignificant and unimportant links from See also (i.e. directory link pages)
  • Replace picture of Selimiye Mosque with one more relevant to section
  • Add more references to Functions section?
