Scott Archer Boorman (born 1949) is a mathematical sociologist at Yale University. He is interested in developing new mathematical phenomenology for complex social structures and processes.

He graduated from Harvard University in Applied Mathematics with Summa Cum Laude. He then received his Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University. He is also a graduate of Yale Law School.
