Plot

Shaktimaan is an upcoming Indian superhero film in the franchise. Mukesh Khanna officially confirmed on his official YouTube channel that he is making Shaktimaan not only with Sony Pictures Networks India but with Sony International. On 10 February 2022, SPE India made the announcement on Twitter with a short concept video showing the rise of Shaktimaan. It was also reported that the film would be part of a trilogy.

Return of Shaktimaan

The discussion about the return of the Indian superhero Shaktimaan, who made a special place in the hearts of 90s children, is in full swing again. The show’s lead actor, Mukesh Khanna, recently hinted on social media that ‘Shaktimaan’ is going to return soon. This news has excited the children of the 90s and all the fans again. Mukesh Khanna said on social media, "Shaktimaan is coming." and also shared a video with it showing some old clips of the show. All the details related to this are not clear yet, but it has been announced that a special segment related to Shaktimaan will return, in which Shaktimaan will guide children on important aspects of life.

Production

Shaktimaan first film was hinted by Khanna in 2020 and with the help of Sony Pictures International. The movie was first hinted in a social media post by Mukesh Khanna, who shared his ideas about a trilogy of films for the silver screen, also claiming it to be better than the Krrish series and Ra.One.

The film was officially confirmed on February 10, 2022 by Sony Pictures India and an computer-animated teaser was uploaded. All the social media posts regarding the film were made under the hashtag #ShaktimaanMovie. The reports speculated tells that the movie is going to be one of the high budget movie of India.

Rumours

In 2018, a satirical media Comic Con India released a poster on Ranveer Singh as Shaktimaan. Which was later confirmed by Khanna to be a rumour and not a realistic poster.
