Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to United States presidential election, 2000, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Misplaced Pages articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Misplaced Pages:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. Anastrophe (talk) 02:11, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Your comment regarding WP:CIVIL on User talk:Calton

Please review WP:TRIVIA. Regarding your post on User talk:Calton: your claim that the user has shown lack of WP:CIVILITY because he was removing trivia is unwarranted. If you have received communications from Calton that suggests lack of civility, please link us the places where the user has expressed incivility. Editors may from time to time perform radical changes as part of WP:BOLD, but if other editors feel that the new change is unsuitable for the article, editors on Misplaced Pages have the right (under certain policies and criteria) to revert changes (good faith edits or not) on articles. I strongly suggest that you sign up for an account and review the many article and interaction guidelines on Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, please see WP:HELP. Request reason:

I have no idea what this is about. It is virtually impossible that I could be this user I've never heard of. I couldn't be anyone else because I started sharing this apartment within the last month. I would like to understand why this is happening. I am requesting this unblock because there is no reason whatsoever for it. I attest that my statements are true. If check user can and is used to verify this information, why am I being blocked? This makes no sense to me. Thank you, 76.87.47.110 (talk) 10:11, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your IP address is shared by different users who use your ISP, this is why you have been block even though you have done nothing. We cannot unblock or else the person your sharing this IP with will start disrupting Misplaced Pages again. If you really want something done you could complain to your ISP(something along the lines of "Because of your client I can't edit Misplaced Pages") But unfortunately I can't unblock you at this time — Chris 11:49, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This response doesn't make sense. The reason for block says "This IP address has been blocked from Misplaced Pages as an IP used by the indefinitely blocked Telogen." Who's this Telogen? Which IP? Calton lists one for User:Telogen and I'm using a totally different one, so how can these be "the same"? Calton mentioned something about ISP. I use TW, does Telogen use TW? I don't know. But that's one of the biggest providers in the country. No way that should single me out. Why does Calton spew vitriol at me and all these other people, and why is it permitted? Chris stated, "We cannot unblock or else the person your sharing this IP with will start disrupting Misplaced Pages again." Who is this person? What is the disruption, specifically? It seems very strange that with legitimate complaints against User:Griot and the sudden involvement of User:Calton, I'm being singled out with no proof of any wrongdoing whatsoever, no proof that this Telogen person has anything to do with me or my IP. Saying "You share an IP" is not showing it. And from what I see, they are not the same. I resent false accusations about me and the countless attacks on my character. And those against User:Boodlesthecat and others.

All I can see are accusations without any proof. I request to see the check user report. I anticipated an apology, instead I'm uncovering violations of these other users and speaking civilly and true and I'm hit with a six month block. Something is amiss. 76.87.47.110 (talk) 13:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Note to User:Telogen or Jeanne Mary

Whoever you are, either all this stuff they're saying is true, and you need to stop, or they're saying stuff about you and they shouldn't, and you'd best seek a good barrister. 76.87.47.110 (talk) 13:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

One mystery solved
