No, it is actually quite fine if you purge the contents of your talk page into the page history, since all of the content is readily available through that. Some user copy-and-paste archiving, and others just blank the page in order to get the content into the history. Personal preference, I suppose. Bratsche 04:35, July 17, 2005 (UTC)

My reply to your email message bounced back, so I am copying the message here:

Hello: To clarify, your block was not one of vandalism; it was for violating the three revert rule. I believe that through an edit summary, another user warned you of this rule, and your following edit summary that accompanied your four revert also confirmed this fact. If there is a fact in dispute, do not participate in senseless edit wars. Admins try to stop edit wars as fast as they happen, primarily through the use of the 3RR rule. In case you don't know, this rule states that a user can make only three reverts in a single 24 hour period. Any reverts exceeding the third can lead to a immediate 24 hour block.

Instead of reverting, a better step would to discuss the matter on the appropriate talk page. If discussion does not lead to consensus, or you feel that the issue is still unsatisfactory, there are a few other steps you may take. First, you could place a Template:Disputed at the top of the page, leading other editors into the discussion, and notifiying them of any possible mistakes in the article. If there are a lack of viewpoints leading to a block in consensus, you could always try to gain the help of outside users, and file an RfC on the article, by following the proper procedures at WP:RfC. Your block should expire soon, and these actions can be taken.

I wish you the best in luck throughout the Misplaced Pages process. Do not hesitate to contact me via talk page if you have any other questions. I, too, wish to see Misplaced Pages a better and more reliable source of info. While I am not educated on the matter of Albania and other issues, I still try to help.
