Shona McGarty (born 14 October, 1991) is a British actress.
Since 1 April 2008 she has played the role of Whitney Dean in the BBC Soap opera EastEnders.
A Borehamwood native, Shona McGarty attended St Teresa RC School in Borehamwood (coincidentally, the school is minutes away from the set of EastEnders and the famous Elstree Film Studios). Before joining EastEnders, McGarty had been involved in amateur musical theatre for six years.
