It lies along local roads east of the town of Winnett, the county seat of Petroleum County. Its elevation is 2,907 feet (886 m), and it is located at 47°3′55″N 108°0′22″W / 47.06528°N 108.00611°W / 47.06528; -108.00611Invalid arguments have been passed to the {{#coordinates:}} function (47.0652641, -108.0062267). Cat Creek once had a post office, which is no longer in existence.
