Temporary SP/FP. Myself and an IP user are edit warring over the copy-editing of the Frank Tipler article. I've shown good faith to the IP and I want to work with him/her. The courtesy isn't extended, and the IP simply reverts things and claim to have consensus even though there isn't (if there were, we wouldn't be edit warring). Another user (third opinion) said he'd request protection, but apparently he forgot or was denied. I'm afraid that without semiprotection, the IP will never engage in productive discussion. • There's been no further edits on this article because i've ceased reverting to avoid 3RR. The editor in question is still mum on actually discussing this despite attempts. The meta of this situation seems pretty imbalanced.. editor can add whatever they want, another editor looking to introduce process and avoid 3RR is pretty impotent to stop them.
