Susan Blakely is an American movie actress who has been unfairly overlooked in her career, mainly because she has played mostly supporting roles. Blakely was born in Germany the daughter of a career Army officer. She first came to Hollywood in the early 1970s as a highly paid fashion model and then branched off into acting. Blakely has never given a bad performance in her career and first came to prominence with her role in the classic disaster movie The Towering Inferno. Blakely's best performance was in the 1980 television film A Cry For Love where she gave an outstanding performance as a drug addict.
