The streber (Zingel streber) is a species of fish in the Percidae family. It is found in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Republic of, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
