AfD nomination of Non-monogamous heterosexual marriage

I have nominated Non-monogamous heterosexual marriage, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Non-monogamous heterosexual marriage. Suggestion

How about taking whatever you're trying to say in that page and finding a way to work it into some existing page about an identifiable topic? The problem most people seem to have (and I agree) is that the page as you created it has no clear topic. It looks like many of the pages you've made here have been deleted. Why don't you take some time to learn more about Misplaced Pages, and work on existing articles, before trying to make your own from scratch? More pages does not always equal better encyclopedia. Friday (talk) 14:25, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Many of the pages i've created have been deleted??? Just because you see a few things on this page about some iMac thing i was trying to do, doesn't mena my created articles have been deleted.... --cooljuno411 20:24, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Note

The above category will be deleted per 28 February 2009 WP:UCFD.

Thanks!

I'm no administrator or moderator for Misplaced Pages, just a fellow volunteer, but I would just like to thank you for your valuable contributions to California's Assembly Bill 390 (the Marijuana Control, Regulation, and Education Act) article.

Though I live thousands of miles away in North Carolina, I firmly support this bill and can't wait to see its outcome.

Thanks again!

Your welcome. Hope the bill passes too. : ]--cooljuno411 18:30, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Definition of ex-gay

Hi, Cooljuno411, I notice that back in January you changed the definition of 'ex-gay.' I've left a comment about that on the article's talk page, since I wasn't sure whether your change was based upon a reliable source or not. If you could find a source that defines 'ex-gay' in the broad way you defined it, that would be very helpful. Thanks. Born Gay (talk) 01:21, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

re: {{Sexual orientation}}

CJ - you keep trying to promote the same issue from different angles, even though it's clear there's neither consensus nor sourcing for the ultimate goal you want to achieve (on which I'll refrain from speculating). Please stop pushing the point; it's getting old. come back with better sourcing, or come back in a few years when there's been a shift in the scholarly world. Don't keep forcing me to shoot you down on technical grounds, particularly when I'm not sure I disagree with you in the abstract (as far as I understand what you're after). I don't think you recognize the limits of wikipedia as an information medium, but I do, and I hate to keep having to push you back just because you can't keep yourself within those limits. And I will keep pushing you back, even if I decide I agree with you, because in this case you're operating outside the scope of the project.

reign yourself in, dude, and do productive work that fits on wikipedia. be bold, but don't be impudent, because that's just not going to get you anywhere (at least not with me). --Ludwigs2 06:06, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Unlabeled sexual orientation

I have nominated Unlabeled sexual orientation, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Unlabeled sexual orientation. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Nothing personal here but the POV fork is an unacceptable issue on Misplaced Pages. What we have here is practically the same thing as Pomosexual, which is where you branched out this article from. Without better academia and worldly distinction between the two, this can only be seen as original research. -ALLST☆R 06:27, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Pomosexual is a coined term to describe an unlabeled sexual orientation... There is controvecy with using the term "pomosexual" because it can be intreated as a sexual orientation. And i kinda do take it personal when you call people like me, who do not lablel with a sexual orientation, original research. I am not "pomosexual", so please do not Intail that i am.--cooljuno411 07:01, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
CJ, you're not original research, but the topic is. I applaud the fact that you choose not to label yourself with a sexual orientation (gender ascription causes almost as much trouble in the world as religion ), but the scholarly world hasn't caught up with this idea. when it does, we can include it. please focus your efforts on getting the concept established in the real world, rather than on trying to get it established on wikipedia. --Ludwigs2 14:32, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

American Phycological Association?

I don't think that's what you meant. Phycology is not the same thing as psychology. LadyofShalott 02:56, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing it out. : ] --cooljuno411 03:00, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

FYI

Just want to direct your attention to the WP:MEAT policy, which in a nutshell says that recruiting friends offline to support you in a discussion is as much a violation of policy as if you'd registered the other account yourself (well, almost - in any case, strongly discouraged and not likely to lead to the outcome you seek.) Best to win arguments by force of reason alone. Nathan 20:22, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

???, ok... thanks for letting me know. --cooljuno411 20:26, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Santee_ca_seal.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Santee_ca_seal.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 10:05, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:200kmhuk.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:200kmhuk.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:24, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Cannabis

You are invited to join WikiProject Cannabis, a WikiProject dedicated to improving articles related to Cannabis. You received this invitation because of your history editing articles related to the plant. The WikiProject Cannabis group discussion is here. If you are interested in joining, please visit the project page, and add your name to the list of participants.
Sorry to see you decided to remove yourself from the list of WikiProject Cannabis participants, as we need members to continue improving articles related to cannabis. Removing AfD tag

You can not simply remove the AfD tag just because you reverted a title change to the article. It doesn't work that way. The Afd must run its course, and the tag must stay on the article throughout. LadyofShalott 20:24, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Hypocrisy

I find it fascinating that you were one of the people who originally made the AB 390 article look so poorly written, NORML could have written it with less bias, and now somehow you think you can just delete stuff you don't like with bogus reasoning.

yes, Dr. Sanjay Gupta DID say he was against decriminalizing cannabis as a DIRECT RESULT of AB 390 being introduced my error.-- still he mentions decrim efforts in California ... but who says he needs to say the exact words "I'm against AB 390" -- His whole damn page opinion piece is on it! My god, do you read anything? -- you're not helping any cause by being biased I hope you realize this.

READ the ref!!! And use the talk page next time.

**You may edit the quote of what he said on the page, if that's what you don't like, but you need to take it to the talk page first. To take it out completely is disingenuous and you know it. That's not how it works here.

Thank you
