- Delete A straight delete per nom. Polargeo (talk) 15:20, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- WP:POLITICIAN clearly points out that city councillors (with the possible exception of those in major cities) are not generally deemed notable just for holding office. I'd suggest that listing them in Coquitlam City Council would be the appropriate solution here, but even that title seems to be a redirect to Coquitlam rather than an independent article. Delete, though if an article about the council itself is ever initiated it would be acceptable to redirect the councillors' names to it. Bearcat (talk) 19:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- Speedy delete copyvio from city web site. Probably not a legal violation, since he probably wrote both, and it's just a list of facts. No independent sources mentioned, no notability. I'd discourage any redirect, we need to discourage this kind of promo copy/paste dumps. --Rob (talk) 22:42, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- Delete. Another lazy copypaste. However, winning the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal is a notable achievement: "The medal was awarded to Canadians who made a significant contribution to their fellow citizens, their community or to Canada over the previous fifty years." But then again, "44,568 medals were awarded". -- œ 13:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
