DVD Covers

Just because a photo has been released as a DVD cover does NOT mean it is in public domain, it still belongs to the company that put out the DVD. Also, TV.com is not a valid third party citation, and that has been discussed before in the Law and Order and CSI article talk pages. I feel you have the best intentions at heart when you edit, but if you aren't sure, there are plenty of admins who will answer questions about citing and copyrights for you. Don't be afraid to ask. In addition to this, I've noticed that you never update the source for the image that you upload, for example, File:Csi miami season 6.jpg. This is an absolute necessesity when uploading any kind of image, even public domain works. If a source url is not provided for each of your recent uploads, I'll delete them in a few days time. Further, it is highly inappropriate to overwrite someone else's upload. Upload new images under new filenames in the future.
I'll also reinforce what Trista has stated above...just because an image is released to the public on a website or in a store, does *not* mean it is licensed as public domain.
It is becoming difficult to assume good faith with you LB. You've been around Misplaced Pages for a while now, and have been warned repeatedly about copyright and sourcing issues. You recently blanked your talk page, so I assume you've read those warnings. In the future, if you continue these types of edits, I will block you to prevent disruption to the project. — Huntster (t @ c) 02:12, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
