Hello,
I am Deepak D'Souza.
Perhaps, you may be aware , or maybe not , that there is a Konkani Misplaced Pages on test at Wikimedia Incubator. It has been around since August 2006 , but has been lacking contributors. Till now it has been a one man effort . I myself became aware of it in February.
We have started with a few articles and need a lot of help given the various dialects and scripts in use for Konakni.
We would be very glad if you contribute.
With regards Deepak D'Souza.
Mando (disambiguation)
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Mando (disambiguation), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Shehzadashiq 10:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Requesting guidance on what makes Misplaced Pages relevant
Regarding the electromagnetic clutch article, the reason that we contributed initially was to correct some of the inaccurate information. The information we posted has been published and is backed up by other clutch manufacturers besides ourselves. It is surprising that an individual with no industry references and/or published articles can decide to change how the industry classifies electromagnetic clutches. If Misplaced Pages is to be used by industry, it has to contain relevant, factual information. Our basic question is, why is one person’s views more relevant than the multiple articles published on clutches and our own knowledge of our design and application engineers (about 100) in our 14 companies worldwide? Some in the engineering community we serve, said it was a waste of time to try to provide real information to Misplaced Pages because anyone can change facts for opinions, but we are not giving up. We are looking forward to your assistance in guiding us with this as we would like to keep providing practical industry reference material. OIC1998 (talk) 19:02, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Hello OIC1998,
First of all, let me make it clear to you that I respect your knowledge about electromagnetic clutches and brakes, and I appreciate your contributions to Misplaced Pages on these topics. However, the form of Misplaced Pages articles is decided by consensus among editors according to certain guidelines. I will list out the issues with the article on the article's talk page Talk:Electromagnetic_clutch. In addition, let me assure you the there are editors with experience in various fields and I am myself a practicing mechanical design engineer.

C. Alvares
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of C. Alvares, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.goa-world.com/goa/kuwait/1999/calvares.htm.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of C. Alvares
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on C. Alvares requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on Alfred Rose (singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
