Macedonia or Macedon may refer to:

  • Macedonia (region), region of the southern Balkans in Europe divided after the Balkan Wars 1913, between Greece, the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (which after WW2 became Yugoslavia), Bulgaria, and Albania.
  • Republic of Macedonia. The first liberated part of the divided Macedonia, a former yugoslav republic.
  • Macedonia (Greece), the region that became part of Greece after the Balkan Wars 1913, now called Greek Macedonia or Aegean Macedonia that is subdivided into three administrative districts:
  • Pirin Macedonia, after the Balkan Wars 1913 the Blagoevgrad Province of Bulgaria
  • Macedon or Macedonia - the ancient kingdom of Philip II, Alexander the Great, and their successors
  • Macedonia (Roman province), a province of the ancient Roman Empire, after almost 100 years of war between the Kingdom of Macedonia and Rome.
