What you can do, and what you can't

You may
Edit this page;
Redesign it;
Flesh it out;
Steal my design (talk or user);
You may not
Blank it;
Vandalise;
Attack me;

Misplaced Pages

I'm an admin of Misplaced Pages, and I normally revert vandalism and block users, but I'll close AfD discussions and delete articles. If there's anything to splice, I'll do that as well. I consider myself one of the nicer admins. Hell, you can view my admin logs to see what I've been up to.

Personal attacks

I frown upon personal attacks, especially homophobia. I'm not gay myself, but a few prominent users have identified themselves as gay, and any attack on homosexuality will get you an instant block from me. Attack me, you're blocked. No questions asked. Users have a right to edit without harrassment and attacks.

Three revert rule

I enforce this policy a lot. If you think you've been unfairly blocked, tell me why politely. We make mistakes, after all. In reality, I'm a fan of the one revert rule, and I support the idea of curtailing admin wheel warring.

Dispute resolution

I would mediate for the cabal, if it existed. I'll mediate some cases there, but I won't mediate on my talk page.

Picture of the Day

Picture of the day Benjamin Franklin Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 – April 17, 1790) was an American polymath: a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher and political philosopher. Among the most influential intellectuals of his time, Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States; a drafter and signer of the Declaration of Independence; and the first postmaster general. Franklin became a successful newspaper editor and printer in Philadelphia, the leading city in the colonies, publishing The Pennsylvania Gazette at age 23. He became wealthy publishing this and Poor Richard's Almanack, which he wrote under the pseudonym "Richard Saunders". As a scientist, his studies of electricity made him a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics. His inventions include the lightning rod, bifocals, glass harmonica and the Franklin stove. This 1778 portrait of Franklin was painted by Joseph Duplessis.Painting credit: Joseph Duplessis ArchiveMore featured pictures...
