Eugene F. Mallove (1947 - May 14, 2004) was the publisher and editor of Infinite Energy magazine, and a strong proponent of cold fusion and other alternative-energy programs scorned by mainstream science.

He authored Fire from Ice, a book detailing the 1989 report of table-top cold fusion from Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann at the University of Utah.

He was killed due to involvement in a property dispute on May 14, 2004. The case is suspected to be a homicide; a full investigation is being conducted.
