The 2014 Australian Open is a tennis tournament played on the outdoor hard courts at the Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia. It will be played from January 19 to February 1, and will feature men's and women's events in singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles. The tournament will also feature junior, senior, and wheelchair events. Stan Wawrinka is the defending champion in men's singles, while Li Na is defending her women's singles title.
