He was raised as a member of The Iglesia ni Christo in Las Vegas, where he attended Palo Verde High School in Summerlin (a middle-upper class suburb of Las Vegas). His parents wished for him to attend college, but he pursued his interests in taking part in Panic! at the Disco. He started working on Panic! At The Disco in his senior year of high school. he wasn't originally the lead singer until the band heard him sing backup during a rehearsal. They were signed a record deal before they could ever performed on stage. His parents are still very supportive of their son. They were the only parents from Panic! At The Disco to find a copy of their CD, and purchase a lot of the band's merchandise even when they could get it for free. He is also a vegetarian, and is rumored to be bisexual, but he isn't. he loves cherry turnovers. If he wasn't in the music industry, he'd be in college and if he could be any cartoon character he'd be elmer fudd and spongebob.
