Education
Sharma received his LL.B. degree at the Schulich School of Law in Dalhousie University and then received his LL.M., also at Dalhousie Law School.
Career
Sharma's early career included work for the Supreme Court (Court of Appeal: Nova Scotia) as a judicial law clerk and employment with the Canadian Justice Deparment as a litigation attorney. After quitting his job, he self-published a book at Kinko's copy shop (which his Mother edited). Sharma was then discovered by former HarperCollins president, Ed Carson, and shot to fame with The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, which has topped international bestseller lists. In total, his books have sold well over 10,000,000 copies in 80+ countries.
Years later, Robin founded Sharma Leadership International Inc., a widely respected training firm with only one focus: helping people in organizations Lead Without a Title. He quickly became one of the world's most trusted leadership authorities and a man whose transformational ideas have helped millions of people in organizations from 75+ countries across the globe. Clients include many of the FORTUNE 500 including Microsoft, GE, NIKE, FedEx, HP, PwC and IBM.
