Regarding the list of "unofficial users" of Iranian rial, I removed Saudi Arabia from this list because Iranian rial is not used to exchange goods in Saudi Arabia, even unofficially. If you read the article that you cited as reference, the title and the first sentence explicitly mention:"Money exchange houses in Makkah and Madinah are refusing to accept Iranian rials from Iranian Umrah pilgrims because the value of the currency has fallen drastically." Please note that money changers in Makkah and Madinah are particularly active around the Hajj period, where they convert the various currencies of Muslim-majority countries (including the Iranian rial) to the Saudi riyal, the only legal tender in Saudi Arabia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Himura Kenshin (talk • contribs) 19:53, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Misplaced Pages articles, as you did to Jamāl al-Dīn al-Afghānī. Doing so violates Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. \\'arrior 786 (open channel) 14:26, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- @\\'arrior 786: You merely need to read Misplaced Pages:Verifiability and Misplaced Pages:Identifying reliable sources to know that anything published by Xlibris is not usable as a reference here in Misplaced Pages. We tend to use reliable sources like Britannica here, and you cannot replace them, end of story. If you insist on replacing these sources again, and on purpose, I assume you want to harm Misplaced Pages's credibility and I have to report your actions on WP:ANB. - Hi User:TheStrayDog. Persian Gulf is believed to be an "unofficial" national symbol only since 2000s. I think it is not wise to include unofficial symbols, because there are many and they are disputable. And yes, there is a Persian Gulf National Day since 2004. I'm not sure how we can include that in the template, but I suppose it would be wrong to link it. Because there is a "National Transportation Day" and a "National Nuclear Industry Day" too, we're going to link Transport in Iran or Nuclear program of Iran? Maybe we should create a List of national days in Iran and link it alongside "World Heritage Sites in Iran" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Iran" below the template? Pahlevun (talk) 12:37, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, you absolutely right . we must create List of national days in Iran and our National symbols article might be like National symbols of Pakistan (which is a good article), in the way you are saying and we must mention the unofficial symbols there. only on a section like #Other or #Unofficial symbols not on template. The Stray Dog by Sadeq Hedayat 13:44, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
Thank you!
Hello dear pahlevun, thanks for your contribution about Iranian national symbols related template . please tell me what is the status of O Iran (the national song of all Iranians) ? it isn't an unofficial or traditional? i think it is semi-official cuz the government is using it at the national ceremonies . can we add it as the national song (as a de facto)?? but your opinion could be important in this fields . i think we must improve National symbols of Iran and promote it to the good article level for first step like national symbols of Pakistan . it seems Iranian are so lazy about their culture less than other countries . our culture is much longer than other country in middle east and our historical rank is #1 in the word. why are we so lazy here? and why Pakistanis are so more responsible to promote Pakistani related articles?? I think we must be more closer together and promote Iran project articles and the quality . you can be so useful here and i think i can count on your vision and opinion to work better here. catch you later to speak about establishing Persian gulf wiki project here. bye The Stray Dog by Sadeq Hedayat 19:10, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mohsen Kouhkan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lenjan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Regarding your edit here;
I'm literally citing, p. 245, of the same source you deleted;
"The revolution brought about a parilaiment (majlis) and a constitution that curtailed the authority of both the monarchy and the clerical establishment (ulama) and gained much international support before it was put down through Russian intervention.
More (amongst others);
"(...) was later demonstrated in the joint ultimatum of November 1911; the expulsion of Morgan Shuster, the American financial adviser to the Persian government, under threat from the two powers; the shutting down of the Majles; and Russian occupation of Tabrīz."
" At 6 a.m. the following morning twenty cossacks were sent to arrest the constitutional leaders but were repulsed by fire from the Sepah-sālār mosque. Reinforcements were brought in under Russian officers, and in the subsequent battle the brunt of the fighting was born by Anjoman-e Āḏarbāyjān and some members of Anjoman-e moẓaffarī, with headquarters near the Majles (Sayyāḥ, pp. 596-600). " (...) "The Russians were becoming convinced that Shuster had anti-Russian designs and was undermining their prestige. Following his decision to appoint another British subject, a Mr. Lecoffre, as financial inspector in Tabrīz, Russia occupied Anzalī and Rašt and on 7 Ḏu’l-ḥejja/29 November issued a three-part ultimatum, requiring dismissal of Shuster." -- Martin, Vanessa. (1992) Encyclopedia Iranica, Vol. VI, Fasc. 2, pp. 176-187.
Cronin, Stephanie (1992) "Iranian-Russian Encounters: Empires and Revolutions Since 1800" Routledge. ISBN 978-0415624336 p 240, 243, 248 -- mentioning the Russian intervention in abudance as well.
Berberian, Houri (2001) "Armenians and the Iranian Constitutional Revolution of 1905-1911: "the Love for Freedom Has No Fatherland" Westview Press. ISBN 978-0813338170, p. 1
Martin, Kamran (2013). Routledge ISBN 978-1134446698., p. 68 "But after the 1911 Tsarist intervention against the constitutional government (...)"
Abundantly explained on Encyclopedia Iranica as well, through a four part series, of which the last sequel especially thoroughly mentions the Russian military/political intervention. (Ettehadieh, Mansoureh (1992). Encyclopedia Iranica. Vol. VI, Fasc. 2, pp. 193-199)
Sounds like a pretty clear Russian military/political involvement with the aim of intervening and stopping the revolutionary affairs to me. And they did so successfully as well. - LouisAragon (talk) 01:40, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
- I suppose the revolution ended in 1906 when the constitution was created (And it was defeated when the Majlis was bombarded in 1908). 1911 military intervention took place after all these events, and is aftermath of the revolution. Anyway, in the infobox, Russia was among "Participants", they did not participate in the revolution like People of Persia or Dashnaktsutyun cited in the infobox (Russia was aganist the revolution). Pahlevun (talk) 15:58, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- Your Wiktionary link literally contradicts that what you're stating, you do realize that hopefully? How did they not "participate", when they were literally both politically and military active during the aforementioned event? A participant doesn't always need to be on the "good" side -- Italy for example was a participant in World War II on the side of the Axis. Russia took part, military and politically, in virtually every sub-event during the Constitutional Revolution, with the goal to stop/prevent it. Against the actions of the pro-constitutionalists/Dashnaks. That was their participation in the event. A proposal: perhaps putting in between the bracket, for Russia: "anti-constitutional intervention", would do the trick, rather than just intervention? - LouisAragon (talk) 01:30, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon:. Regarding this edit summary, please make it clear that which one of the sources above says "they did nót just intervene in 1911 only". Pahlevun (talk) 13:23, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

- I think I made it pretty clear already above, by citing the pages/quotes and sources. What remains unclear for you? "Intervention" doesn't just refer to the 1911 crackdown in Tabriz and the subsequent "end" of the revolution, but to the entire Russian political and military actions in the period (the bombing of the Majles, the occupations of Rasht and Anzali, the ultimatum to dismiss Morgan Shuster, etc, etc.). - LouisAragon (talk) 23:26, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: The constitution was created in 1905–06. Is there any source stating that Russians intervented duing the period? Because what you cited dates back to at least two years later in 1908 when the bombardment happened. The occupations of Rasht, Anzali and Tabriz all occured in 1911. They are post-revolutionary interventions. Pahlevun (talk) 16:15, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- The reliable sources, consider the "Iranian Constitutional Revolution" (or Persian Constitutional Revolution) to have taken place between 1905 and 1911. A span of six years. These events happened thus during the revolution, while some of them would contribute or even be the decisive factor that ended the period as a whole (e.g. capture of Tabriz). In 1906, the cosntitution was created, but the constitutional revolution, had not ended yet; that would only happen some years later, in 1911. I believe you're mixing up things. - LouisAragon (talk) 01:55, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi, Pahlevun. I invite you to join Iranian rial discussion on Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution noticeboard.
Hi Pahelvun,
I invite you to join a discussion regarding the editing of the article: Iranian rial, which I believe contains inaccurate/misleading information. My problem is the inclusion of Saudi Arabia in a list of countries of "unofficial users" of the Iranian rial. This is both incorrect and misleading. I have tried to edit it out a couple of times, only to have it undone by you. In the article you cited as reference, the title and the first sentence explicitly mention:"Money exchange houses in Makkah and Madinah are refusing to accept Iranian rials from Iranian Umrah pilgrims because the value of the currency has fallen drastically." Please note that money changers in Makkah and Madinah are particularly active around the Hajj period, where they convert the various currencies of Muslim-majority countries (including the Iranian rial) to the Saudi riyal, the only legal tender in Saudi Arabia.
I have deep respect for the Iranian people and people of Iranian descent. However, I can't help but think that you are deliberately adding Saudi Arabia (a regional rival and foe of the Iranian regime) to the list of users of the Iranian rial as part of a wider propaganda effort.
I have tried communicating with you, even through your talk page, but to no avail.
My hope is that Misplaced Pages be a reliable source of accurate information, free from propaganda and deliberate distortions for geopolitical ends. This is part of the reason I decided to contribute, however little, to Misplaced Pages. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

- Hi Himura Kenshin. You seem too experienced for a user joined Misplaced Pages on 10 September 2016. Either you are a Super-fast-learner, or a veteran. If you are not a newbie here, this is very interesting that you neglect good faith and accuse other users of spreading "Propaganda" and if you are not familiar with Misplaced Pages, I suggest you to read WP:AGF, next time you wanted to tag a user being part "of a wider propaganda effort". I have restord the material, adding more sources and quotes. Anyway, I am open to any discussion, start a section on Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution noticeboard and tag me, I will be there. Pahlevun (talk) 06:44, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi Pahlevun,
Thank you for your response. I apologize for judging you prematurely. I would like to note that with regards to the use of currencies of muslim-majority countries, like the Iranian rial, the Indonesian rupiah and the Egyptian pound, is accepted within very small limits of time and space; only in a small number of shops in Makkah and Medina; and even then only around the time of Hajj. Most Iranian (and indeed other pilgrims) know that, which is why the vast majority of them exchange their local currencies for the Saudi Arabian riyal. If what you said were true, then those pilgrims wouldn't have needed to do that. That is why I said your references were misleading.
When the Iranian rial is accepted as payment in a limited number of shops within only two cities (in only a specific time of year) in a country that has 46 cities including 20 major cities ! To say that Saudi Arabia as a country uses the Iranian rial is wrong and very misleading. To illustrate my point, the UK is not an "unofficial user" of the euro just because a limited number of businesses accept payments in euro. Or else every country would be an unoffical user of every other country's currency. I look forward to your reply. Himura Kenshin (talk) 10:47, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
I have started a discussion on the Iranian rial talk page. I invite you to join the discussion. Regards, Kenshin.Himura Kenshin (talk) 11:00, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Undid revision of my edits
Hi Pahlevun! You recently undo my edits in Iran's presidential articles. You previously said that my edits has no references and it is your reason for undo my edits. But, for recent edits, I add a realiable source, . For another edit, you edited Iranian presidential election, 1980 and said that Madani was an Independent. We must add person's party membership to the inbox not parties that has supported or declined to support them! GTVM92 (talk) 14:56, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hi GTVM92. The source for Khabaronline's infographic is probably 2011 unsourced version of this very template which was in the article until I changed it in 2016, because it wrongly names Kazem Sami as Freedom Movement nominee, among other mistakes. I have added a reliable academic source for the party affiliations. In the source, everyone are independent candidates except Hassan Habibi. I found no source fot the National Front to be active in the election either. Pahlevun (talk) 14:37, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
