The Battle of Cam Duong was fought as part of the battle of Lao Cai during the Sino-Vietnamese War, between the Chinese People's Liberation Army and Vietnamese VPA forces in the mining town of Cam Duong. From February 22–25, Chinese forces clashed with the Vietnamese for control over the town, and captured it after the three days of heavy fighting.
