About the Deletion of "Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong"

I quite agree with deleting pages with violation to copyright. But this time, I'm sorry to say that it is not the case here. The editors of the page "Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong" during the past few days are students who are fulfilling the task assigned by the teacher. So after the deletion of that page, history of the contributions have all gone, leaving us empty-handed with no work to be handed in to the teacher. The students are new users of the wikipedia, and might not be so acquainted with the regulations of wiki, and may have violated the copyright this way or another. But after all, their performance will be judged by the teacher, so the deletion of this article will become all unnecessary.
I would appreciate it very much if you can restore that article. And after the due date of the assignment, which is Nov.15, the deletion of the page "Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong" will be at your will. And if it cannot be restored, please be kind enough to send us a copy of this page to "hkusamaritanhotmailcom"

Seems the page was restored anyway. I guess class projects are the new thing at WP. Montco 14:31, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Congrats!

Just wanted to extend congratulations on your successful RfA. I didn't realize you were up for it or I would have joined the almost unanimous support that you received. I've seen you around AfD quite a bit and think you do an awesome job. Cheers! --NMChico24 07:57, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Good work, I'm sure you'll do very well with the tools. riana_dzasta 09:31, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Congratulations, Coredesat! I was happy to support you. --Deathphoenix ʕ 16:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Congratulations on your promotion, and you're very welcome! --MerovingianTalk 21:20, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Congrats on your successful RfA! I really ought to pay closer attention to RfA - seen you around a lot, after reading the signpost I had the cliche thought "what, he wasn't already an admin?!". Anyhow, congrats again! --AbsolutDan 12:48, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Recent Deletion

Hi you recently deleted an article I was very interested in, and I know the people who posted the article and they were very disapointed. I know I was a new user, but I have benn actually using Misplaced Pages for a long time - and this is the first time the content I was interested in was up for deletion, so it was the first time I commented.

Anyway, I hope you can repost the article as Vicky Smallman also has an article and she is no more relevant a person than Gary Ludington. Some of the people who commented on her deletion also asked you to keep the article on Gary Ludington. Since then there has been a lengthy article on him in the Ottawa Citizen and other local papers.

Hope you reconsider- Lejdesign

my article?

hey whats up you deleted my article i guess. was it because of a copyright issue? Id appreciate it if you cleared it up thanks

Edit: ok thank you I will recreate the article in a more expedient way...I was in the process of completing it when i learned it had been deleted.

Cryoseism

Hi Coredesat, could you copyedit my sandbox article (User:SpLoT/Cryoseism) when you're free? And also move it into mainspace when it's ready. Thanks so much. - SpLoT / 09:00, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Oops, sorry, I copied the message from Chacor's :S Thanks! I will start with the references now. - SpLoT / 10:54, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Requests for adminship/Elonka

Thank you for participating in my recent RfA. Unfortunately consensus was not reached, and the nomination was not successful. I appreciate that you took the time to comment, and I did pay close attention to your thoughts, as I do find it a valuable thing to understand how I am perceived by others in the Misplaced Pages community. If there is anything that I can do in the future to help further address your concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. --Elonka 08:52, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Ozura Mobile

I was in the middle of satisfying WP:CORP when you deleted the article, so it's been recreated. I don't think it qualifies as speedy delete now. ···日本穣 20:25, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Joseph Blanchette

I couldn't help but notice that you deleted Joseph Blanchette based on the AfD discussion from early 2005; however, that decision was overturned in later discussions. I would link you to the relevant pages, but I'd need access to the talk page code from Joseph Blanchette and Legendary Frog (the latter having been deleted as an empty redirect the next day). This is what happens when I have a busy week; I miss something like that. Wonderful. CaptHayfever 17:24, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

In Strict Confidence

Hello. You recently speedy-deleted In Strict Confidence. While it was just a stub, I was surprised Misplaced Pages had nothing on them. You suggested it was A7 ("unremarkable/vanity"). Fair enough, they aren't properly mainstream but they still whack up a hefty 1.1m google hits, and have released 9 albums. They are perhaps better known in their native germany (German wikipedia has a page on them here de:In Strict Confidence), but I still think they are well-known enough elsewhere to gain their own entry. (Plus, if you give me the article back, I'll improve it so it's not quite so lame :-) --h2g2bob 03:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Ta, many thanks :D --h2g2bob 03:57, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

About my Vandalism?

I don't understand, what did I vandalize? I tried to ask Splot, but he just said he won't speak to me further on the matter. I really would like to know. I mean, how can I correct my mistakes if I don't even know what I did. Furthermore, I am not some stupid 12 year old on a kick. I am a full time college student much like you, though I am going to school for Aerospace Engineering and am only a Junior, but I am an older junior at 24. Anyway, if you could let me know what I did wrong I'd appreciate it. Thanks. (SlimJimmy 10:32, 29 October 2006 (UTC))

Is it possible to get an explanation as to what would make the word Defunkitated acceptable to Misplaced Pages? Even if it is in Encyclopedia form it gets deleted. Does it not have any significance because it is relatively new? (SlimJimmy 10:37, 29 October 2006 (UTC)) Thanks in advance

Mirage Source AfD

Hi. I notice you closed the Mirage Source AfD and deleted Mirage Source, but didn't delete Mirage Online and Secrets of Mirage which were nominated in the same AfD? Was this deliberate? Cheers --Pak21 09:40, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Chess game

I'm inviting you to a match over at the Coffee Lounge (I'll be playing as white). If you have time, let me know on my talk page. After I have typed this message, the next edit of mine will be my first move. Good luck! --Slgr@ndson (page - messages - contribs) 17:56, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
