Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:
- Contributing to Misplaced Pages
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Misplaced Pages, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (90.226.9.16) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Peaceray (talk) 22:04, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of British supercentenarians, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The scope of changes that you made, namely the removing of a table, must be discussed on the article talk page first. Peaceray (talk) 22:05, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at List of British supercentenarians. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have now been reverted by a second editor. Please discuss on talk page before removing tables. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Misplaced Pages, as you did at List of oldest people by country, you may be blocked from editing. Stop removing citations. Yes, you are adding a citation. No, this does not justify your table changes & removal of citations. Please see WP:EDITCONSENSUS. Peaceray (talk) 21:05, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding Longevity, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Template:Z33 DerbyCountyinNZ 01:18, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Misplaced Pages, as you did at List of supercentenarians from the United States. Remove the rankings again and you will be blocked form editing. Do it under another IP address and the page will be semi-protected for as long as it takes for you to comprehend this. More careless editing: this revert not only removed sourced information about a recently-deceased supercentenarian, but also killed a lot of work that had been put in making the table sortable. @DerbyCountyinNZ: Given the numerous warnings here, is it time for a sanction? — JFG 06:21, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately it might be a bit difficult owing to the infrequency of their edits. Perhaps taking them to WP:AIV immediately after their next disruptive edit might get the attention of a sympathetic admin. DerbyCountyinNZ 06:57, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Misplaced Pages, as you did at Tane Ikai. DerbyCountyinNZ 04:11, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Given that this IP persists in editing disruptively but is trying to avoid being blocked by taking a beak after each spate of such behavior, let's be clear. ONE MORE such edit and I will seek an indef block for this IP address. DerbyCountyinNZ 04:13, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Topic ban
As notified above, you are now topic banned editing, commenting on, or otherwise participating in any Misplaced Pages process related to articles about longevity, broadly interpreted. This is due to your history of tendentious editing and particularly your use of GRG as a source, which was a focus of the arbitration case. I believe it is likely that you are one of the already restricted editors. Guy (Help!) 10:14, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
