The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

File:Infant annihilator logo.jpg
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Misplaced Pages non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Misplaced Pages talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Wrong incident. Read a few paragraphs more. It is not censored. --SVTCobra (talk) 01:26, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Reliable sources
The IMDb is not a reliable source. Please stop adding content from the IMDb to Misplaced Pages. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:18, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
Progressive death metal
Please do not revert back a previous reversion, as you did at technical death metal, without helping to resolve the dispute on the talk page. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle and take this opportunity to refer to the ongoing discussion. ABC paulista (talk) 13:02, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to In Vogue, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Misplaced Pages, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:18, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
Nattramn: Revision as of 05:25, 1 March 2017 -- source for medical condition = personality disorder
Hi. Do you have any reliable source for Nattramn having a personality disorder? When searching for information it looks like all data that exists is pure speculation. What is your stance on the reliability of the information about this person/entity/group having a personality disorder? Ελλίντερεστ (talk) 15:07, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Unspoken King, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chronicles of Chaos (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:30, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Edit war at Infant Annihilator
Please take a minute to take a look at the opening sentence of articles such as Napalm Death, Arch Enemy and Cradle of Filth – and research the nationalities of their members – to see and learn about the standard procedure on WP about this topic; before initiating a nonsensical edit war. I wish you to have a fruitful day. --Concus Cretus (talk) 05:05, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Timelines and lineups
please create the timeline and update the lineups of the bands House vs. Hurricane, Royal Coda, Sianvar, Secret Band, Nova Charisma (with all the info of this new band), Norma Jean (band), Set Your Goals (band), Bloodline Severed, Wolves at the Gate (band) and Dream On, Dreamer with new additional and correct info — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.34.81.214 (talk) 18:12, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- Why would I want to do that? I don’t care for any of those bands and I never mess with timeline stuff either Second Skin (talk) 18:49, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

February 2020
Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you recently removed content from Society's Finest without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The link is piped. Feel free to discuss on the article's talk page. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Society's Finest
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. March 2020
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Suffocation (band), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.--Concus Cretus (talk) 07:30, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
