The 2017–18 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament was an edition of the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament, a cricket tournament in Afghanistan. It was the first edition of the competition to be played with first-class status. The tournament started on 20 October 2017 and finished on 23 December 2017. Five regional teams competed in a double round-robin tournament with the top two teams in the group progressing to the final.

Speen Ghar Region finished first in the group stage and faced Band-e-Amir Region in the final. Band-e-Amir Region won the tournament, beating Speen Ghar Region by 537 runs in the final.

• Band-e-Amir Region won the toss and elected to field.
• Fazal Zazai, Rahim Mangal, Imran Mir, Ghamai Zadran, Ziaulhaq, Rashid Zadran, Nasir Totakhil, Nawaz Khan, Zia-ur-Rehman, Kabir Alikhail (Mis Ainak Region), Imran Janat, Hazratullah Zazai, Zia-ul-Haq, Younas Ahmadzai, Shakirullah, Mohammad Sardar, Sayed Nasratullah, Rokhan Barakzai and Nijat Masood (Band-e-Amir Region) all made their first-class debuts.

• Hamayun Omar, Nasir Khan, Bahir Shah, Tahir Khan, Shawkat Zaman, Waheedullah Shafaq, Muslim Musa, Qasim Oryakhail, Zahir Shehzad, Fitratullah Khawari, Mohammad Ibrahim (Speen Ghar Region), Zahid Zakhail, Juma Gul, Shir Shirzai, Farhan Zakhil, Yahya Khan, Haji Murad Muradi, Asadullah Matani, Jamshid Khan, Samiullah, Ihsanullah Mandozai (Amo Region) all made their first-class debuts.
• Bahir Shah (Speen Ghar Region) scored the second-highest total on debut in a first-class match.

Round 4

• Speen Ghar Region won the toss and elected to field.
• Arif Khan (Speen Ghar Region), Shah Zaib, Nazir Ahmad and Dastagir Khan (Boost Region) all made their first-class debuts.
• Bahir Shah (Speen Ghar Region) became the second-youngest player, after Javed Miandad, to score a triple century in first-class cricket.
