"Cathedral Song" is a song released as a single from the album Ancient Heart by Tanita Tikaram. It received a nice treatment on music video with an extended length video, portraying love story between two swimmers in a summer. The video was shot in black & white, and Tanita is featured only in studio footage, not on the external footages.

Covers

The song was covered by Brazilian singer Zélia Duncan. Her version, which features a similar arrangement but lyrics in Portuguese, was included in her second homonimous album (1994) and became a smash hit in Brazil. Since then Duncan has been a major artist locally, and "Catedral" (the Brazilian title of the song) is still considered a classic tune. The translated version has also been covered by other Brazilian artists, like Renato Russo (from Legião Urbana) and Leandro (from duo Leandro e Leonardo).
