Death by Numbers is a 2024 American short documentary film co-produced and directed by Kim A. Snyder. The film in which, a school shooting survivor confronts her assailant in a poetic journey to empowerment, had its world premiere on October 5, 2024 at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Later it was screened at the Woodstock Film Festival on October 19.

In December 2024, it was shortlisted for the Best Documentary Short Film at the 97th Academy Awards.

Release

Death by Numbers had its world premiere at the 32nd Hamptons International Film Festival on October 5, 2024.

On October 19, it was presented in the 25th Woodstock Film Festival as special event.

The film was showcased at the Doc NYC on November 20, 2024 in the Short Caretakers programme.
