Gloss (Xiang Po) is a superhero appearing in media published by DC Comics. She first appeared in Millennium #2 (January 1988), and was created by Steve Englehart and Joe Staton.
Fictional character biography
Gloss is a Chinese member of the New Guardians and a successor to the Guardians of the Universe, who gave her the ability to draw energy from ley lines.
In One Year Later, Gloss joins the Global Guardians before being killed by Prometheus.
Following the reboot of the DC Universe with The New 52, Gloss is resurrected and joins the Great Twenty, China's team of superheroes.
Powers and abilities
Gloss is connected to the Ley Lines, which gives her superhuman strength and durability, immortality, and the ability to manipulate the earth.
