Heyworth Community Unit School District 4 is a school district located in Heyworth, Illinois. The school district was established in 1859.

Benjamin F. Funk School in rural Shirley educated students in grades one through twelve until 1948 when the high school portion was consolidated with the nearby Heyworth school district.  Students in grades one through eight continued to attend Benjamin F. Funk School until 1993 when the school closed and the students were sent to Heyworth for school.  The building still stands today and is now a private residence.
