Ikechukwu Lekwachi Emetu (born 09 April 1984) is a Nigerian engineer and politician who has served as deputy governor of Abia State since 2023.

Life and career

Emetu is from Ohafia. He is a petrochemical engineer. According to govornor Alex Otti in a press briefing released by the News Agency of Nigeria, Emetu was picked because of his "youth, his outstanding community development service and humanitarian gestures". He received his certificate of return on 29 March 2023.
