The Merrill-Palmer Quarterly is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering developmental psychology. It was established in 1954 and is published by Wayne State University Press. From 1958 to 1981, it was known as the Merrill-Palmer Quarterly of Behavior and Development. From 1981 to 2024, it was known as Merrill-Palmer Quarterly: Journal of Developmental Psychology. Since 2025, the editor-in-chief is Brett Laursen (Florida Atlantic University) and the journal is now known as Merrill-Palmer Quarterly: A Peer Relations Journal. The associate editors are Hannah Schacter, RenΓ© Veenstra, and Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2023 impact factor of 1.2.
