Palani Falls is a surge waterfall located in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Location

The waterfall, descending from a height of 150 m (492 ft), is situated in Kullu district, and lies at a distance of about 6 km (3.7 mi) north of the Bijli Mahadev Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The waterfall is encircled by pine forests and rocky cliffs.

Every year in March, a fair is held at the waterfall, when thousands of tourists and devotees gather to bathe in its waters, which are believed to be sacred.

The waterfall is accessible by road. The nearest airport is Kullu–Manali Airport.
